"And what the hell- a coupla corn dogs!!"

There's a Quik Trip (gas station/convenience store, for the uninitiated) right around the corner from my house which has the most absurd ad ever plastered all over the parking lot. Now, Quik Trip has always been very proud of its gas station food. I've seen countless photos of their breakfast offerings- sausage biscuits, breakfast burritos, etc- which are all part of the "Hotzi" line. "Hotzi"?? Are they all Lawrence Welk fans at Quik Trip headquarters? "Stand up, Hotsy Totsy Boys, you're being honored with a line of frozen taquitos!"

But back to this particular ad. It's a large full color photo of a corn dog with this written underneath:

                                                    THE ADULT PACIFIER

I'm sorry, right now I can't say anything because I'm gagging. Hang on.....OK, I think I'm all right now. I'm sorry, whenever I think of this concept of corn dogs serving as pacifiers for adults, I just imagine herds of fat people with vacant expressions on their face, shuffling around the parking lot with corn dogs sticking out of their mouths, which then grosses me out.

I think we all know what the adult pacifier is. It's similar to a corndog, but not always available at a convenience store.
